Jbe’ Kruger rounded out a solid week on Sunday with a one-under-par 71 in the final round of the Asian Tour’s Volvo China Open giving him a share of 25th.

It was a par-train on the way out in his final round after his third-round 69, but birdies on 10 and 13 got his score moving. He dropped two shots on the 15th and 16th, but got back into red numbers with a birdie on the 17th. That took him to five-under-par for the week. That put him 14 strokes behind the winner, Sarit Suwannarut of Thailand. Suwannarut closed with an eight-under-par 64 to move six strokes clear at 19-under of runner-up Taichi Kho of Hong Kong.

Behind Kruger, Jaco Ahlers closed with a level-par 72 to stay at four-under for the week in a share of 32nd.

Ian Snyman missed the cut.
