Adilson Da Silva had five birdies and a bogey in his opening round of four-under-par 66 on Friday in the Legends Tour’s Swiss Seniors Open at Golf Club Bad Ragaz in Switzerland.
That put the man who leads the Order of Merit on the circuit in a share of seventh, four strokes behind the leader Thomas Gogele of Germany who had an eagle, eight birdies and two bogeys on his way to an eight-under 62. Gogele led by two from Jarmo Sandelin of Sweden, with four players in a share of third on five-under.
Keith Horne opened with a two-under-par 68 to be in a share of 15th, while defending champion James Kingston was on one-under in a share of 22nd. Chris Williams opened with a three-over 73 for a share of 49th.
