It’s going to be a two-man shootout for the Legends Tour’s Order of Merit title after Adilson Da Silva carded a second successive five-under-par 67 on Saturday in the second round of the MCB Tour Championship-Mauritius at Constance Belle Mare Plage.

The Brazilian who plays out of South Africa moved to 10-under-par with the final round ahead, and he was in a share of third with the only other man who can win the MCB Road to Mauritius, Peter Baker of England. The pair was one stroke behind the leaders, Michael Jonson of Sweden and England’s Robert Coles.

Da Silva needs to finish at least solo third or in a four-way tie for second or better to have any chance of overtaking Baker. Three-time winner Baker leads the way on 3,485.8 points, 264.2 points ahead of four-time winner Da Silva.

Baker would guarantee he tops the rankings by winning or finishing alone in second. If Da Silva wins, Baker needs to finish solo second to top the list. If Baker finishes 10th, Da Silva has to finish second alone or win.

Da Silva was bogey-free in his second round, as was Baker.

Behind them, James Kingston, who lies third in the MCB Road to Mauritius, carded a second consecutive three-under-par 69, and, at six-under for the tournament, was in a share of 12th.

Chris Williams, lying 44th on the Order of Merit, carded a four-under 68 to climb into a share of 18th on five-under.
