MJ Daffue followed his opening 67 with a three-under-par 68 on Friday to move to a share of 11th at the halfway mark of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Visit Knoxville Open at Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Daffue made a birdie on the fifth hole ahead of dropping his only shot of the round on the sixth. On the back nine, he made birdies on 10, 13 and 18 to move to seven-under-par for the tournament.

He was seven shot off the blistering pace set by Korea’s SH Kim, who had a brilliant 11-under-par 61 in the second round to move to 14-under and a three-stroke lead over Sweden’s Pontus Nyholm. Logan McAllister, Andrew Kozan and Ryan Hall shared third on 10-under.
