In a continuation of his recent good form, MJ Daffue opened the Korn Ferry Tour’s Visit Knoxville Open with a six-under-par 64 on Thursday to be in a share of second place after the first round.
He shared second with Michael Feagles, and the pair was two shots off the lead held at eight-under by Anders Albertson.
Daffue made eight birdies and two bogeys in his six-under. He picked up four of those birdies in the first seven holes, before dropping his first shot on the par-three eighth. His back-nine birdies came on 13, 15, 16 and 16, and his other bogey was on the par-three 14th.
