MJ Daffue rounded out a solid week on Sunday with his closing three-under 69 giving him a share of 15th in the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio.
He followed a solid opening round of four-under 68 with two rounds of level-par, and then he closed with an eagle, six birdies and five bogeys to finish the week on seven-under. That was eight shots behind Canadian winner Corey Conners, who closed with a 68 to win by one from Sam Stevens of the United States. Americans Sam Ryder and Matt Kuchar shared third on 13-undrer, two behind Conners.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout finished in a share of 28th after his final round of three-under 69. Garrick Higgo was in a share of 64th on six-over for the tournament with a closing 75.
Dylan Frittelli missed the cut.
