Louis de Jager added a two-under-par 70 to his total on Friday in the second round of the DP World Tour’s D+D Real Czech Masters at the Albatross Golf Resort in Prague to move to 10-under-par and a share of fifth place.

Although he lost the lead, De Jager kept himself in the hunt for what would be a maiden DP World Tour title with four birdies counteracting the two bogeys he made. At 10-under, he was four shots behind the lead held by Malaysia’s Gavin Green. Green had two eagles and five birdies in his second round of nine-under as he moved to 14-under and a three-stroke lead over Belgium’s Thomas Pieters, Marcel Schneider of Germany and Englishman Richard Mansell.

Joburg Open champion Thriston Lawrence moved to seven-under for the tournament and a share of 15th place with his three-under-par 69 in the second round. Amongst others sharing 15th with him was Rory Sabbatini.

Wilco Nienaber produced a fine five-under-par 67 in the second round to climb into a share of 21st on six-under. Zander Lombard had a three-under to move to five-under through 36 holes and a share of 27th.

Hennie du Plessis had work to do to make the cut, and he produced it with a five-under 67 moving him to two-under to make the weekend on the number at two-under. Also on two-under was Thomas Aiken.

Hayden Porteous and Mathiam Keyser missed the cut.
