Bryce Easton stayed inside the top 10 on Saturday with a third round of one-under-par 69 in the Rosa Challenge Tour at Rosa Golf Club in Konopiska, Poland.
Easton was in a share of eighth place after his two birdies and a bogey took him to seven-under-par for the tournament. He was six shots off the lead, which was held by Angel Ayora of Spain, who had a four-under-par 66 to move to 13-under-par. Ayora was two shots clear of Italy’s Gregorio De Leo and Jens Fahrbring of Sweden.
Deon Germishuys was in a share of 20th after he also had a third-round score of one-under-par 69 to move to four-under-par.
Easton needs a final burst for the season on the Challenge Tour over the next seven tournaments ahead of the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final at the end of October if he is to make his way into the top 20 and earn his DP World Tour playing status. He is currently ranked 60th and is projected to rise five places if he finishes as he is in Poland right now. The top 45 players make it into the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final.
