Bryce Easton moved into a share of seventh on Saturday with a third round of three-under-par 68 in the DP World Tour’s Cazoo Wales Open at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales.
After a steady round with four birdies and just a single bogey, Easton found himself at two-under-par for the tournament, nine shots off the lead which was held by England’s Callum Shinkwin. Shinkwin had a superb six-under 65 in the third round to pull one clear of Frenchman Julien Guerrier. In third, a long way back at five-under was Connor Syme of Scotland.
Louis de Jager had a one-over 72 to slip to a share of 31st on two-over through 54 holes, while Jacques Blaauw, Haydn Porteous and Darren Fichardt were on five-over in a share of 54th after rounds of 74, 78 and 72 respectively.
