Dylan Frittelli battled his way to a one-over-par 71 on Saturday in the third round of the PGA Tour’s Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open to drop into a share of 22nd.
The South African made four birdies, three bogeys before a double-bogey on the 18th saw him finish his round over par. At one-under for the tournament, he is six strokes off the lead which is held by Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler leads by one from Jhonattan Vegas, Matthew Wolff, Kramer Hickok, Martin Trainer and Kevin Tway.
Erik van Rooyen and MJ Daffue were in a share of 58th after rounds of 74 and 72 respectively. At one-over for the tournament, they are eight shots off the lead.
Dawie van der Walt, Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Branden Grace all missed the cut.
