It has been quite a while since he had to do it, but Dylan Frittelli got the job done on Tuesday when he qualified for the Alfred Dunhill Championship with a five-under-par 67 at ERPM Golf Club getting him in to the main draw for Leopard Creek.

Frittelli shared fourth place in a field of 98 players who were looking to get into the Sunshine Tour and DP World Tour co-sanctioned event which tees off on Thursday. That was two shots behind the man who led the way into the field, Heinrich Bruiners, who continued his superb form with a seven-under-par 67 putting him one shot clear of Matthew Spacey and Brooklin Bailey of the United States who shared second.

Together with Frittelli on five under were Divan van den Heever, Henning du Plooy, Adam Breen and Keagan Thomas, while Jake Redman and JJ Senekal survived a six-man play-off for the remaining two spots.
