Deon Germishuys continued his recent good form on Thursday with an opening three-under-par 69 in the opening round of the DP World Tour’s Korea Championship Presented by Genesis at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon, South Korea.

His five birdies and two bogeys put him in a share of ninth place, six shots off the lead which was held by France’s Antoine Rozner who had a bogey-free 63 to start his campaign. Rozner led by four from Sanghyun Park of Korea and England’s Andy Sullivan. There were five players on four-under in a share of fourth, including former Dimension Data Pro-Am winner Alexander Knappe of Germany, and 12 other players shared ninth with Germishuys.
