Retief Goosen carded a one-under-par 72 on Friday in the second round of the PGA Tour Champions Trophee Hasan II at Royal Golf Dar es Salam in Rabat, Morocco to move into a share of 10th with one round to go.
Goosen opened with a one-over-par 74, and climbed 14 places into a five-way share of 10th. He was one level-par through 36 holes, nine strokes behind the leader, Stephen Ames of Canada. Ames led on nine-under by three from Mark Hensby of Australia and England’s Paul Broadhurst.
James Kingston, who opened with a level-par 73, had a second round of four-over-par 77 to slip to a share of 27th. Adilson Da Silva put together a level-par second round to move into a share of 39th on six-over for the tournament.
