Garrick Higgo kept things tidy on Thursday in the opening round of the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am when he made a bogey-free three-under-par 69.
The tournament is played with amateur partners on three courses – Pebble Beach, Monterey Peninsula and Spyglass Hill – ahead of the cut before the final round. Higgo played on Spyglass Hill, and was partnered with American rapper ScHoolboy Q. He was in a share of 24th, five shots off the lead which was held by American Hank Lebioda, who played at Monterey Peninsula.
Higgo shared 24th with, amongst others, countryman MJ Daffue, who also played at Spyglass Hill. Dean Burmester carded a two-under on the same course, while Erik van Rooyen went four-over there. Dylan Frittelli signed for a six-over on Spyglass Hill.
