Keith Horne carded a second-round two-under-par 70 on Saturday to be in a share of seventh heading in to the third round of the Legends Tour Qualifying School-Final Stage at Gloria Golf Resort in Belek, Turkey.
Horne started his round with a birdie on the first, made a bogey on the sixth, and then closed out the front nine with a birdie on the ninth. He doubled up on that immediately after the turn with a other on the 10th, and made two in a row again on 12 and 13. But he made two bogeys in a row on 15 and 16, and, at three-under through 36 holes, was four shots off the lead. Carlos Balmaseda of Spain and Simon Griffiths of England led at seven-under, one clear of Magnus P Atlevi of Sweden.
Doug McGuigan followed his first round of 75 with a two-under 70, Callie Swart had a 75 to back up with his opening 77 and amateur Henk Geldenhuys also had a 75 to follow his first-round 77.
