Sean Howell had the round of the day on Wednesday as his four-under-par 68 was more than enough to give him a four-shot victory in the Bushveld Tour’s Blu Label Unlimited Series #4 at Kyalami Country Club.
Howell made an eagle, five birdies and three bogeys in the closing round to go with his first two rounds of seven-under 65 and three-under 69, and his 14-under-par total for the 54-hole event put him well clear of Travis Ladner and Jacques van der Merwe, who shared second at 10-under. Ladner had a 70 in the final round and Van der Merwe signed for a 71.
Haydn Driver was in fourth place on five-under-par after his closing one-over 73, and amateurs Hannes Strooh and Jan-Hendrik Nieuwoudt shared fifth on three-under-par with Wandre Snyman and Brandon Pieters.
Howell climbed to eighth place on the Order of Merit, which is topped by Oliver Goldhill, who finished in a share of ninth at Kyalami.
