James Kingston opened with a two-under-par 70 on Thursday in the first round of the Legends Tour’s Staysure PGA Seniors Championship at Trump International Golf Links in Scotland.
That put him just two shots off the lead, which was shared by Scots Gary Orr and Scott Henderson, England’s Simon Khan and Sweden’s Jarmo Sandelin. One shot back on three-under 69 were Robert Coles and Paul Eales of England, and Michael Campbell of New Zealand.
Sharing eighth with Kingston was, amongst others, Doug McGuigan, representing Scotland.
Keith Horne opened with a one-under 71, Adilson Da Silva with a one-over 73, and Chris Williams with a three-over-par 75.
