Joshua Koekemoer eagled the first hole in his final round on Wednesday on his way to a third successive round of three-under-par and a three-stroke victory in the Bushveld Tour’s Blue Label Invitational #3 at Centurion Country Club.
The amateur made two birdies in his final round – one on each nine and dropped a shot on the sith. He was able to coast home from first-round leader Warwick Purchase, who had a closing two-under-par 70. Luke Mayo was in third on three-under after his closing one-under 71. Eric Wowor and Chris Long shared fifth on level-par.
The win took Koekemoer to 13th on the Order of Merit, while Purchase is in fourth. The leader is Jaden Deltel.
