Jbe’ Kruger carded a six-under-par 66 on Friday to move inside the top 10 at the halfway mark of the Japan Golf Tour’s ASO IIZUKA Challenged Golf Tournament in Fukuoka, Japan.
It was a bogey-free effort from Kruger to go with his opening three-under 69 taking him to nine-under for the tournament. That put him four shots off the lead which was held by Tomoyo Ikemura. He leads by one from Brad Kennedy of Australia and Taigo Nagano of Japan.
Kruger made birdie on his first hole of the day, and then picked up another on the third. He completed his scoring on the front nine with a birdie on six to turn in three under, and he kept things very tidy indeed with birdies on 12, 16 and 18.
