Jbe’ Kruger edged closer to the top 20 on Saturday when he carded a third round of three-under-par 69 in the Asian Tour’s Yeangder TPC at Linkou International Golf and Country Club in New Taipei City, Taiwan.

His bogey-free round took him to eight-under-par for the tournament and a share of 21st ahead of the final round. The lead was held, as it has been since the first round, by Thailand’s Suteepat Prateeptienchai. He moved to 18-under through 54 holes, with his four-under 68 keeping him two clear of second-placed Miguel Tabuena of the Philippines.

He made two bogeys and a double-bogey in his first four holes after opening with a birdie on the first. He rectified things with four birdies in the first five holes on the back nine.

Ian Snyman had a two-under 70 in the third round, and, at six-under, was in a share of 37th.
