Jacques Kruyswijk kept himself in the conversation on Saturday with a third-round three-under-par 68 lifting him to a share of 26th in the Challenge Tour’s Indoor Golf Group Challenge at Landeryds Golfklubb in Vesterby, Sweden.
While his seven-under-par total through 54 holes is nine strokes off the lead, he knows that a strong finish will be an important part of his fight to regain his DP World Tour status through the Challenge Tour. He currently lies 47th on the Road to Mallorca standings. The top 45 players play in the season-ending Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final, and the top 20 players at the end of that will win their DP World Tour playing status.
In the lead after the third round was Jeppe Kristian Andersen of Denmark on 16-under, who was one clear of Maximilian Rottluff of Germany.
Zimbabwe’s Benjamin Follett-Smith was in a share of fifth on 12-under after his third round of four-under 67.
