Lamprecht slips to 21st after level-par 72 in 3rd round in The Ascendant

Christo Lamprecht slipped 10 places down the leaderboard on Saturday as he carded a level-par 72 in the third round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s The Ascendant presented by Blue at TPC Colorado in Berthoud, Colorado.

Lamprecht made three birdies, a bogey and a double-bogey in his third round after making his first cut as a professional in his fourth start. He stayed at 10-under, which put him in a share of 21st, nine strokes off the lead.

Up front, American Matt McCarty fired an eight-under 64 to move to 19-under and into a three-stroke lead over Chile’s Cristobal Del Solar. At 16-under, Del Solar was two ahead of two players in a share of third, while four players shared fifth on 13-under.

Dawie van der Walt was the only other South African left in the field after Aldrich Potgieter missed the cut, and he carded a two-under-par 70 to move into a share of 46th on seven-under.
