A pair of late bogeys on Sunday meant that Lee-Anne Pace finished in a share of fourth place in the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Korea Championship at New Korea Country Club in Goyang, South Korea.

Pace, who was in second place one off the lead heading into the final round of the 54-hole tournament, dropped an early shot on the fourth on her way to a one-over 73 in the final round. But she made birdies on five and 10 to keep herself in contention, before dropping shots on 15 and 18 to finish on two-under-par for the tournament.

She was five strokes behind the winner, Hyo Joo Kim of Korea, who closed with a three-under 69. That gave Kim a two-stroke edge over runner-up Chiara Tamburlini, who had a 68 to finish. Korean amateur Seojin Park had a brilliant final round of seven-under-par 65 to take third place on four-under-par. Pace shared fourth with Austria’s Emma Spitz, Investec South African Women’s Open champion Perrine Delacour of France, and Dorthea Forbrigd of Norway.

Danielle du Toit made the cut and finished with a 10-over 82 to end up in 69th on 10-over-par.

After playing three tournaments, Pace is in 25th on the Order of Merit, with Casandra Alexander the leading South African in fourth.
