Pieter Moolman will head into the final round of the Challenge Tour’s Kaskáda Golf Challenge at the Kaskáda Golf Resort in Brno, Czech Republic in second place after a four-under-par 67 put him just two shots off the lead.
Moolman will play the final round in the company of Italy’s Lorenzo Scalise, the first-round leader, who carded a one-under-par 70 in the third round to stay ahead of Moolman and the other pursuers. Manuel Elvira of Spain was in third on eight-under, and David Borda of Spain and John Allen of Germany were in a share of fourth on six-under-par.
Haydn Porteous continued with his best performance in some time with a one-under 70 in the third round putting him in a share of 12th on three-under-par.
Martin Vorster slumped to an eight-over-par 79 in the third round and crashed out of contention after being six-under at the halfway mark. At two-over going into the final round, he was in a share of 46th.
Jaco Prinsloo was on three-over after a third-round 73, in a share of 56th, and JJ Senekal also had a bad day with his five-over 76 dropping him to a share of 61st on five-over.
