Lee-Anne Pace was the only South African to make the cut on Friday as she carded a one-over-par 72 to take up a share of 22nd after the second round of the Open de France on the Ladies European Tour.
She is at one-over for the tournament, nine shots off the lead held by Julia Engstrom of Sweden who went low in the second round with a seven-under 64 and a four-stroke lead over the chasing pack.
Stacy Bregman and Lejan Lewthwaite both missed the cut for the tournament which finishes on Saturday.
