Shaun Norris carded a three-under-par 69 on Thursday in the first round of the Asian Tour’s and Japan Golf Tour’s Shinhan Donghae Open in Incheon, South Korean to be in a share of 26th.
Norris made six birdies and three bogeys, and he was five strokes off the lead which was held by David Puig of Spain. Puig carded an eight-under-par 64 without dropping a shot and was one clear of Anthony Quayle of Australia and Phachara Khongwatmai of Thailand.
Scott Vincent’s younger brother Kieran Vincent of Zimbabwe was a further stroke back on six-under in a share of fourth together with three other players.
Jbe’ Kruger, a former champion of the tournament, opened with a one-under 71 for a share of 71st, together with Ian Snyman.
