Lee-Anne Pace finished one stroke outside the top 10 on Sunday as she closed out the Ladies European Tour’s Hero Women’s Indian Open with a one-over-par 73 to finish the week on level-par for the 72 holes.
He six birdies, four bogeys and a triple-bogey seven on the 14th saw her finish in a share of 11th, 15 strokes behind the winner, Aline Krauter of Germany. Krauter sealed her first LET title in style, winning by an emphatic five shots from fellow rookie Sara Kjellker of Sweden.
“I feel amazing,” Krauter said, who is the second German to win the event after Olivia Cowan last year. “It feels hard to put into words and I don’t think I can quite grasp what just happened. But looking down the 18th it’s such a special place. Hopefully I’ll be back next year to defend my title. It’s been such a great week.”
