Lee-Anne Pace kept herself in the picture on Saturday with a second round of one-under-par 71 in the Ladies European Tour’s Tipsport Czech Ladies Open at the Royal Beroun Golf Club.

Her five birdies and four bogeys kept her in a share of 12th, as she was after her first round. At five-under ahead of the final round of the 54-hole tournament, she was four behind the leader. At the top of the leaderboard was England’s Hannah Screen, who carded a four-under 68 to move to nine-under and a one-stroke lead over Spain’s Marta Martin, Swede Caroline Hedwall and first-round leader Chloe Williams of Wales.

Pace’s round was headed south after she started on the 10th and made two bogeys on her front nine. She dropped two more shots on her homeward nine, and then rescued her round with a superb run of five consecutive birdies from the fifth.

She shared 12th with six other players.

Nicole Garcia had a one-over 73 in the second round and will head into the final round on two-under in a share of 41st.

Eswatini’s Nobuhle Dlamini was on one-under, one above the cut-line in a share of 47th after a second round of one-over 73.

Stacy Bregman, Danielle du Toit, Gabrielle Venter, Cara Gorlei and Britney Fay Berger all missed the cut.
