Aldrich Potgieter carded his second three-under-par 68 in a row on Saturday as he climbed into a share of 34th after the third round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank at The Glen Club in Glenview, Illinois.
At 12-under-par for the tournament, Potgieter is a quite some distance back from the 20-under-par 54-hole total of Germany’s Thomas Rosenmueller, who had a third round of eight-under 63 to lead by two from Americans Sam Bennett and Ryan Gerard.
Potgieter had a great front nine, with four birdies seeing him turn on 32, but he made just two on the back nine as he dropped three shots with bogeys on 14, 17 and 18.
Dawie van der Walt and Christo Lamprecht both missed the cut and took no part in the third round.
