Aldrich Potgieter stayed in a share of 34th on Saturday after a level-par 70 in the third round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Panama Championship in Panama City.

He started his second round on the 10th, and promptly made two consecutive bogeys. He regained those strokes with birdies on 12 and 14, but dropped another stroke on the 15th. He got it going nicely with three birdies in the first five holes of the homeward nine, and, at two-under for the round to that point, could have been well inside the top 20. But he made double-bogey on his final hole, the ninth.

At one-over for the tournament, he was eight shots off the lead which was held by Wil Bateman of Canada, who had a six-under 64 in the third round. He shared the lead with Isaiah Salinda of the United States. American Brandon Harkins was third on six-under-par.
