It was a quiet week for South Africa’s female golfers, with the Ladies European Tour on a break and just Paula Reto playing the weekend on the LPGA Tour.

She dropped three places on the latest Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings to 54^th after her share of 65^th in the Dio Implant LA Open at Palos Verdes Estates in California.

South Africa’s top-ranked golfer, Ashileigh Buhai, missed the cut, and she too dropped three places, but still is inside the world’s top 20 in 18^th.

The only player in South Africa’s top 10 on the world list was Kiera Floyd in 654^th. She is the eighth-best South African.
