Paula Reto turned things round on Friday with a one-under-par in the second round of the LPGA Tour’s Buick LPGA Shanghai at Shanghai Qizhong Garden Golf Club in Shanghai, China helpeg her to make the cut and get into the field for the weekend.
Reto has missed four cuts in her last five tournaments since the AIG Women’s Open in early August, so getting into the weekend in a share of 56th gives her a chance to improve on the one finish she has had, which was a share of 23rd in the Kroger Queen City Championship in September.
Reto was 11 strokes behind the leader, Maja Stark of Sweden. Stark had a four-under 68 in her second round to go with her opening 66, and she was two strokes clear of American Danielle Kang and China Yu Liu.
