Jayden Schaper moved into the top 10 on Saturday with a bogey-free five-under-par 67 in the third round of the DP World Tour’s DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club in New Delhi.

Schaper, who is having his best-ever season on the tour, opened with two birdies on his first two holes to get the train rolling, and then he kept the errors off his card with three more birdies, on the 11th, 14th and the 18th as he moved to 11-under-par for the tournament.

He was in a share of 11th place, six strokes off the lead. Up front, Japan’s Keita Nakajima carded a seven-under 65 to move to 17-under-par and a two-stroke lead over Tommy Fleetwood, who had a three-under 69. Shane Lowry was in third on 14-under.

Schaper shared 10th with England’s Dan Bradbury, Spaniard Jorge Campillo, Michael Kim of the United States and countryman Thriston Lawrence. Lawrence had five birdies and two bogeys in his three-under 69 for the third round. One stroke behind Schaper was world number two, Rory McIlroy.

Zander Lombard was on nine-under-par in a share of 20th after he, too, had a third round of 69. Darren Fichard and Casey Jarvis were in a share of 34th on six-under, and Robin Williams was on five-under in a tie for 42nd.

Jacques Kruyswijk and Ricard Sterne were on four-under, and Thomas Aiken withdrew during the third round.
