JJ Senekal sliced through the field on Friday with a five-under-par 67 in the second round of the Challenge Tour’s British Challenge at St Mellion Estate in Plymouth, England taking him to a share of third.

Senekal started his round on the 10th with a bogey on his very first hole, but three birdies and an eagle in the four holes ahead of the turn Saw him head for home at four-under.
