Snyman finishes 13th in Shinhan Donghae Open in South Korea

Ian Snyman closed with a four-under-par 68 on Sunday as he finished in a share of 13th in the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour co-sanctioned Shinhan Donghae Open at the Ocean Course at Club 72 in Incheon, South Korea.

After his first round of two-under-par 70, Snyman’s next three rounds were all in the 60s as he posted 68-69-68 to finish the week on 13-under-par.

That was a long way off the battle for first place, which was won at 22-under-par by Japan’s Kensei Hirata. Hirata closed with a six-under-par 66 to win by one from Australia’s Travis Smyth. Japan’s Kosuke Suzuki was third on 18-under-par.

Shaun Norris had a solid week after two runner-up finished on the Japan Golf Tour. He closed with a two-under-par 70 to finish on 11-under in a share of 29th.

Snyman climbed to 30th on the Asian Tour Order of Merit, while Norris was on 15th on the Japan Tour list.
