Ian Snyman closed with a two-under-par 69 on Sunday in the final round of the Asian Tour’s International Series Japan at the Caledonian Golf Club in Chiba, Japan to finish oin a share of 19th.
It was the fourth round in the 60s for the South African in the tournament, to go with his 69s in the first and second rounds, and his 68 in the third round. He finished on nine-under-par for the tournament, six strokes behind the winner.
Travis Smyth of Australia closed with a seven-under-par 64 to reach 15-under. That gave him a one-stroke edge over Pavit Tangkamolprasert of Thailand and Japan’s Ryosuke Kinoshita who had a 62 and a 63 respectively in the final round.
Snyman shared 19th with Yuxin Lin of China and Yubin Jang of South Korea.
Jaco Ahlers closed with his second one-under-par 70 in a row, and he reached four-under for the tournament and a share of 44th.
Justin Harding and Oliver Bekker missed the cut, as did Kieran Vincent of Zimbabwe.
