Stacy Lee Bregman carded a one-over-par 73 on Thursday to take up a share of 22nd after the first round of the Ladies European Tour’s season-ending Andalucia Open de Espana at Los Naranjos Golf Club in Marbella, Spain.
Bregman made three birdies and four bogeys in her round, and she was four shots off the lead which was shared by Manon de Roey of Belgium, France’s Anne-Lise Caudal and Spaniard Fatima Fernandez Cano.
Also on one-over after the first round was South African Women’s Open champion Lee-Anne Pace, who had a hole-in-one on the eighth. She also had a birdie, two bogeys and a double-bogey on her card.
Nicole Garcia opened with a four-over 76 for a share of 48th, and Casandra Hall and Nobuhle Dlamini started out with six-over 78 and a share of 63rd in the 72-player field.
