A pair of bogeys in the final three holes on Sunday cost Kaleigh Telfer a top-five finish in the Epson Tour’s Circling Raven Championship at Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley, Idaho, but she still managed to finish in a share of 14th.
Telfer had got it to 10-under-par with five birdies in the first 12 holes, but bogeys on 16 and 18 saw her slip down the leaderboard to eight-under for the 54-hole tournament. She was five shots behind the winner, Yue Ren of China, who won in a play-off from Chanettee Wanasaen of Thailand. Laetitia Beck of Israel was third on 12-under together with Minji Kang of Korea.
Telfer shared 14th with three other players, and her fifth top-20 performance of the season lifted her to 43rd on the Race for the Card. The top 10 players at the end of the season will earn their LPGA Tour playing privileges. There are four more tournaments before the season-ending Epson Tour Championship on October 5.
