Ashleigh Buhai rounded out a solid start to the LPGA Tour season on Sunday with her second four-under-par 68 in a row to climb into a share of 10th place in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Florida.
She had three birdies and two bogeys on the front nine, and then turned things on really well on the back nine with three birdies in a row from the 10th. She made another on the 15th before making bogey on the 16th.
At eight-under-par for the week after her first two rounds of level-par 72 each, she was 12 shots behind the wire-to-wire winner, A Lim Kim of Korea. Kim finished with a five-under 67 to move to 20-under and a two-stroke margin of victory over world number one Nelly Korda of the United States. Korda closed with a 65 and was three clear of Sweden’s Linn Grant, who had a final round of 69.
