Retief Goosen finished inside the top 10 on Saturday as he signed for a closing one-under-par 72 in the PGA Tour Champions in Rabat, Morocco.
On a tough day for scoring when only 12 of the 65 players were under par, Goosen made a birdie on the last hole to sneak inside the top 10 in sole possession of ninth on one-under-par for the tournament.
Canada’s Stephen Ames cruised round in a bogey-free level-par 73 to finish on nine-under, winning by five strokes from Australian Mark Hensby. Four players shared third on three-under for the tournament, with Miguel Angel Jimenez and Colin Montgomerie sharing seventh on two-under, one ahead of Goosen.
James Kingston closed with a level-par 73 to finish in a share of 19th and Adilson Da Silva had a four-over 77 to finish in a share of 47th.
