Jbe’ Kruger finished inside the top 20 on Sunday when he closed the Asian Tour’s Yeangder TPC at Linkou International Golf and Country Club in New Taipei City with a two-under-par 70 to move to 11-under-par for the tournament.
He made four birdies and two bogeys to finish in a share of 20th, 13 shots behind the winner, Poom Saksansin of Thailand. Saksansin closed with a 66 to win by three from Travis Smyth of Australia. Gaganjeet Bullar of India was in third on 19-under, five behind the winner.
Jaco Ahleres shared 20th with Kruger after he closed with a one-under-par 71. One shot further back was Ian Snyman on 10-under-par in a share of 20th after he bounced back from his third-round 75 with a closing 68. MJ Viljoen also had a fourth-round 68 to climb into a share of 32nd on nine-under-par.
