Gerhard Trytsman opened the Bushveld Tour’s latest series with a four-under-par 68 on Monday at Serengeti to take the lead in the first round of the Bushveld Series #1.

Trytsman dropped just a single shot as he took a one-stroke lead over Estiaan Conradie and Graham van der Merwe. Stals Swart and Tiger Adams of England were in a share of fourth on two-under-par. Ruan Conradie, Wade Jacobs and amateur Thapelo Maichotlo were on one-under in a share of sixth. There were eight players on level-par in a share of ninth.

The top five finishers on the 2024-25 Bushveld Tour Order of Merit receive full Big Easy Tour cards for the 2025-26 season. There are also lucrative Srixon sponsorships up for grabs for the top three players.

There are 50 Big Easy Tour invitations available to players during the 2024-25 Bushveld Tour season. The top five non-exempt finishers from a group of 10 selected Bushveld Tour tournaments in the season will earn these invitations.
