Daniel van Tonder will head into the weekend just one shot off the pace after a second round of three-under-par 68 on Friday in the HotelPlanner Tour’s Dutch Futures at the Dutch in Spijk, Netherlands.

It was a typical Van Tonder round, with an eagle, four birdies and three bogeys as he moved to six-under-par through 36 holes and a share of third. Up ahead by just a single stroke were Portugal’s Pedro Figueiredo and Palmer Jackson of the United States on seven-under-par after rounds of 66 and 65 respectively.

Sharing third with Van Tonder was Euan Walker of Scotland, who had a second round of two-under-par 69. One stroke behind them were four players on five-under, and there were two players in a share of ninth on four-under.

Wilco Nienaber made the cut by one shot on level-par, after his second round of one-under-par 71, which had five birdies and four bogeys.
