Scott Vincent of Zimbabwe carded a closing four-under-par 67 on Sunday in the third and final round of LIV Golf’s Singapore tournament to finish in fourth place.

Although he was unable to repeat his heroics of the second round when he set a course record of nine-under-par 62 to get into contention, his five birdies and just a single bogey in the final round saw him finish on 15-under-par, just two shots off the lead.

After 54 holes, Talor Gooch of the United States and Sergio Garcia could not be separated at 17-under-par each, and Gooch won the sudden-death play-off on the first extra hole with a birdie. Brooks Koepka finished third on 15-under after a closing four-under-par 67.

Best of the South Africans was Louis Oosthuizen, who closed with a one-under 70 to move to eight-under and 18th. Charl Schwartzel was 34th on three-under after a 70, Dean Burmester was 42nd and Branden Grace 43rd on two-under.

The South African team, Stinger GC, missed out on a podium finish for the first time this season, slipping to 10th place as Range Goats GC, with Gooch, captain Bubba Watson, Thomas Pieters and Harold Varner III won.
