Scott Vincent continued his hot run of form on the Japan Golf Tour on Friday as he carded a second-round score of three-under-par 68 in the ISPS HANDA Gatsu-n to tobase Tour tournament at Miho Golf Club in Ibaraki, Japan.
He added that to his first round of five-under-par 66, and he headed into the weekend’s action in a share of second with Tomoyo Ikemura, just one shot behind leader Yuta Uetake, who also signed for a 68 in the second round.
It was a solid bogey-free effort from the Zimbabwean Olympian as he picked up shots on the ninth, 16th and 18th.
There were good second rounds from Shaun Norris and Jbe’ Kruger too. Norris carded a three-under 68 to move to four-under for the tournament and a share of 11th. Kruger also had a 68, and he was on one-under through halfway and in a share of 33rd.
