Nestled in the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains two hours north of Johannesburg, Euphoria Golf & Lifestyle Estate once again plays host to the Sunshine Tour’s Limpopo Championship.
The signature Annika Sorenstam 18-hole championship course provides a true test of golf in a magical bushveld setting, making it a unique experience for golfers. The golfing legend says the course “will favour the strategic player rather than the big hitter. You have to think about every shot.”
There are several standout holes on the course, including the par-four fifth which has a large bunker splitting the fairway, and the par-four 11th and 13th. On the 11th, the tee shot is played over a stream that runs along the left of the fairway, towards the only two-tiered green on the course. On the 13th tee, golfers are able to soak in the surrounding beauty from the highest point on the course.
Designed with a commitment to the preservation and enhancement of the indigenous fauna and flora, wild grasses, deep bunkers and a natural ravine are features of this unforgettable golf course.
