Steyn City, situated between Johannesburg and Pretoria, is hosting the Sunshine Tour’s Jonsson Workwear Open.

This Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course is the focal point of a real estate project developed by insurance magnate Douw Steyn.

Boasting immaculate fairways, water hazards and 75 bunkers, this looped course will offer challenges aplenty for the professionals.

Golfers are greeted by the award-winning clubhouse which serves as the backdrop to the first tee. The course is laid out on either side of the Jukskei River, with the 377m par-four first and 168m par-three ninth playing across the river.

The par-five sixth is the longest hole on the course at 595m, with bunkers on the left and right to consider when playing your second shot. The 18th is regarded by many as the toughest par-four, with a split fairway and water hazard demanding accuracy off the tee and with the approach shot.
