A closing five-under-par 66 on Saturday left Casandra Alexander just two strokes off the summit of the leaderboard in the Ladies European Tour’s Lacoste Ladies Open de France at Golf Barriere in Deauville.

But for a bogey on the 13th, it was an otherwise flawless round rom the South African, as she climbed into thirds place on the tour’s Order of Merit. In the end, her 14-under-par total for the 54 holes was just not enough to catch the 16-under that Canadian Anna Huang reached with her closing six-under 65.

Huang can now call herself a two-time Ladies European Tour winner after the 16-year-old rookie won last week’s La Sella Open. She became the third player to win back-to-back in 2025 following in the footsteps of England’s Mimi Rhodes and Czechia’s Sara Kouskova.

“I’m honestly just so shocked right now! I don’t think I have fully processed my last win and then to win again is just so crazy,” said Huang. “I’m so proud of myself. I never imagined this would ever happen. Firstly, I won last week and then this week, to have two wins in a year is absolutely incredible. I’m just so grateful for everything.”

Alexander racked up three birdies on her front nine as she matched Huang to the turn. Three more gains came on the back nine, as well as that single bogey, but Huang was flawless as she held off the South African as well as the German Helen Briem, who charged with a 65 of her own in the final round.

Danielle du Toit closed with a one-under 70 to move to level-par for the tournament and a share of 55th.
