Ian Snyman held on to a position inside the top 10 on Friday with a level-par 72 in the second round of the Asian Tour’s Blue Canyon Phuket Championship in Thailand.
Snyman had three birdies, a bogey and a double-bogey in his round as he stayed at six-under-par for the tournament in a share of 10th place. He was six shots off the lead which was held by local Thai player Sadom Kaewkanjana who carded an eight-under 64 to go to 12-under and a one-stroke lead over first-round leader John Catlin of the United States.
Mathiam Keyser and Ballito-based Brazilian Adilson Da Silva missed the cut by just one shot, They were both on level-par for the tournament after rounds of three-over-par 75 and two-under-par 70 respectively.
