Lee-Anne Pace closed out her week back on the LPGA Tour with a superb bogey-free six-under-par 65 lifting her into a share of 12th in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.

Four birdies were complemented by an eagle-three on the 14th, as she climbed from 41st place after 36 holes to 12-under-par for the tournament. That was five shots outside the play-off between Atthaya Thititkul of Thailand and Danielle Kang of the United States. Thitikul won on the second extra hole, while Korea’s Chella Choi was in third on 16-under-par.

The play-off began on the par-three 15th which sits next to the 18th green. Both players made pars and moved on to the difficult par-four 16th. Thitikul hit a clutch approach shot to eight feet from 153 yards. She drained that putt for birdie and the win.

Paula Reto and Ashleigh Buhai missed the cut.
